Derek C. S. Rose
Derek Rose attended the University of Southern Mississippi where
he graduated in 1996 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. While
attending
the University of Southern Mississippi he was given the Gamma Alpha Epsilon
award for academic excellence.
After completing his studies
at the University of Southern Mississippi, he attended Faulkner University¹s Thomas Goode Jones School of
Law, where he
graduated in 2002 with a Juris Doctor and in the top third of his class.
While attending Faulkner University¹s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law
he was inducted into Who¹s Who among American Universities and Colleges.
He was
elected as Honor Court Chief Justice and Second Year Associate Justice and
served as Executive Editor of the Jones Law Review.
He became licensed
under the Alabama Bar in 2002. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District
Court for the Southern District of Alabama,
the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, the U.S.
District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and the U.S.
Court of
Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. In addition, he is admitted to
all State
Courts in the State of Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama Bar
Association, Mobile Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
